WFAHEC provides continuing education for:

CME Activity Planning

WFAHEC through the FLAHEC Network and in partnership with the Florida Medical Association (FMA) is a provider of Category I CME.

CME development involves a process of identifying a learning need, developing an educational strategy for learning, implementing the strategy, and evaluating the effectiveness of the strategy. An evidence-based approach will help to ensure the validity of clinical content and thus improve the likelihood of a successful outcome to the educational intervention. Please contact the CE coordinator for further information on planning a CME event.

WFAHEC is a provider of Cat I CHES for the Certified Health Education Specialist. Please contact the CE coordinator for more information regarding upcoming trainings.

Online CME/CE Opportunity

New on-line education opportunities. The Florida AHEC Network in conjunction with the Florida Keys AHEC Center is now offering free on-line courses for state mandated licensure programs and Tobacco Cessation trainings for healthcare providers. Coordination Services

If you are planning an educational health conference, let WFAHEC do the work for you. WFAHEC is able to coordinate online registration (www.ahecregistration.org), obtain approval of continuing education credits for healthcare providers, and secure meeting locations throughout Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties.
